They replaced the tierods and did a front end alignment, did a outstanding job. They were quick and did quality work. Great customer service and price was awesome. Firest one quoted me a price that was over double of what Sherman's did it for. He doesn't look for things to try and get more work. I will be using him again. Strongly recommending them!

I went to a tire shop to have a TPMS replaced. They said my tires were wearing incorrectly and I needed an alignment. My tires were only a few months old so I did want an alignment to preserve them. I told them to proceed but 30 minutes later they said the tie rods were frozen and I'd need new inner and outer tie rods. About $1,000 plus the cost of an alignment. I left the shop with only the TPMS work done. Next, I contacted Sherman's and explained the situation. They were able to address the issue with the "frozen" tie rods without any parts or labor charges and simply gave me a proper alignment. This shop realizes they will make more money in the long run by always doing the right thing for the customer rather than trying to take advantage of customers whenever possible. Most of us need to eventually put our trust in someone when needing automotive repair work done. If you haven't found that shop yet, bring your car here.

Ever since I move to Sarasota I was looking for a good, reliable, straight forward and honest mechanic. This took me a few years to find. Until I heard of Sherman's Auto Repair. I wish I've found Sherman's Auto Repair sooner. I would have saved, on time, money and frustration. I know will bring Sherman all my family vehicles, when there is a problem. The best of the best mechanics. They are so fair. So honest. Gave us a pretty great deal on our repair. And really took their time helping us understand what happened with the car. Sherman is just the best hands down and ive lived in srq 28 years and have used alot of mechanics for all my old cars i buy and wow. So glad i went there because it was major fix and i know i would have been quoted way more anywhere else. Ty sherman!!

Yesterday we called to find out how much it would cost to replace a non-functioning headlight. Our grandson and a friend were here and one of the car’s headlights was not working at all. Since he would be driving back to the Atlantic Coast we wanted to get the light fixed/replaced for him. Oh, and he was heading back today. Once we gave Sherman’s the car’s particulars, we were told that they had the replacement in stock AND if we took the car to the business last night, the work would get done first thing this morning. We also asked if the ‘check engine’ light that comes on frequently signaled an immediate need. We were quoted a price for a diagnostic test as well as repair if necessary. We settled on having the diagnostic test done but we would see about the repair if warranted. At 9:15 this morning, my husband received a text that the car was done. When we picked it up, we were given a complete list of diagnostic tests done as well as the peace of mind that, although there were a few issues, none required immediate attention. The headlight was replaced and we felt much better about the drive back to the Atlantic side of the state. Not all businesses would have made time for this repair to be completed so quickly. Sherman’s knew that we were concerned about safety so they worked this job into their already busy schedule. Thank you to Sherman’s Auto Repair.

I had a great experience with Sherman’s. They did an excellent job replacing my radiator and water pump, and also took care of some general maintenance on my can. The service was professional, efficient, and everything was explained clearly. My car is running perfectly now and I really appreciate their honest work and attention to detail. It's challenging to find a shop to work on a true classic. I did some research, talked to the owner and felt comfortable taking my '63 Chevy to Sherman's Auto Repair. They did exactly what I asked. There was no "job-creep". Kept the car clean and secure during the repair process. Delivered as promised. Problem corrected at a fair price.

Great shop and great team! I had a cooling issue with my engine, and I was prepared to dish out a couple hundred dollars to get it fixed and wait for at least 4 hours if not more. They fixed it in 50 minutes (suprisingly simple problem that caused it) and the final bill was only about $85. Definitely coming back for any future car concerns!
